Scholarship Description

A PhD scholarship is available for a suitably qualified graduate to undertake a research project within the Faculty of Health Sciences in the area of coordinating community services to provide safe alternatives to unnecessary hospitalisation, improving the health outcomes of people through developing and implementing health delivery models whereby community organisations are capable of providing an extended range of care services in the home or community setting.

This scholarship is offered annually to 2 people. Open for applications from September 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD20007 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Public health and health services. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than June 30, 2009.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia may apply.
