APAI PhD Scholarship - School of Veterinary Science
Scholarship Description
Do you have an interest in tropical beef cattle reproduction and infectious disease? A 3-year Aust Postgrad Award Industry (APAI) PhD scholarship is available through The School of Veterinary Science at The University of Queensland to contribute to a 2008 ARC Linkage project (An integrated genomics approach to improve our understanding of the biology of genital campylobacteriosis in beef cattle). Qld Depart of Primary Industries and Fisheries (Qld DPI&F), Pfizer Animal Health and Gribbles Veterinary Pathology are the major Linkage partners. The successful applicant will be based at The University of Queensland (St Lucia and Gatton campuses and Pinjarra Hills), but will also undertake research in collaboration with Qld DPI&F at the Animal Research Institute, Yeerongpilly. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications until August 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25627 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
