ARC PhD Scholarship in Spatial Information Techniques for Traffic Incident Management

Scholarship Description

A PhD research scholarship is available in conjunction with the ARC 3 yr project Traffic Incidents: Reducing the Impacts, supervised by Prof Clive Fraser. The project will investigate factors affecting the duration of traffic incidents and will develop methodologies & technology solutions for improved incident management. Options for emergency response, accident reconstruction & policy mechanisms will be studied. The goal is to develop cost-effective & innovative policies, strategies, technologies & methodologies to reduce the impact of traffic incidents. Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD27000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent.
