The National Drug Research Institute - PhD Scholarships
Scholarship Description
The National Drug Research Institute invites applications for 2 PhD Scholarships on an NHMRC-funded, multidisciplinary study of methamphetamine use & service utilisation in Melbourne. The project will combine qualitative & epidemiological approaches & employ an innovative conceptual framework for the integration & application of research findings. One scholarship, based at NDRI's Melbourne, will support the qualitative arm of the project. The successful applicant will have a good hons degree in anthropology, sociology & the capacity to undertake qualitative research with methamphetamine users and drug service providers. Contact Assoc Prof D Moore The other is based at the School of Public Health & Preventive Medicine, Monash University, will support the epidemiological arm of the project. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25817 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
