Australian Centre of Necrotrophic Fungal Pathogens - PhD Scholarship
Scholarship Description
A PhD scholarship is available through a successful ARC Linkage application by the Australian Centre of Necrotrophic Fungal Pathogens at Murdoch University and Proteomics International. The project is based on the development and application of 2D-LC proteomic chromatography techniques using the model wheat pathogen Stagonospora nodorum. The successful applicant will have: • Upper IIA Honours degree (min). • Knowledge of biochemistry/biological chemistry. • Understanding of proteomics and protein separation techniques including the use of HPLC. • A demonstrated willingness to learn mass spectrometry. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25140 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
