Sport Marketing PhD Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Centre for Tourism, Sport and Service Innovation (TSSI) at Griffith University has a PhD research scholarship available. The PhD will focus in the area of Sport Management & Marketing with an emphasis on Sport Consumer Behaviour related to events, tourism and recreation. In addition to the PhD scholarship, the successful applicant can supplement the award through research assistant work for members of TSSI. TSSI acts as a focal point for innovative, quality research in tourism, sport, and service innovation. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from July 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD33000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Marketing, Other commerce, management, tourism and services, Services or Tourism. It is required that your study starts no earlier than February 15, 2009.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent.
