Scholarship Description
One APA holder at the University of Sydney will work with a repertoire of measurement tools to assess the impacts of community regeneration strategies including: levels of social disadvantage, social cohesion, resident participation, strengths of partnership between stakeholders, social networks and neighbourhood ‘liveability’. The other APA holder at UNSW will focus on developing action research methods suitable to community development approaches to help develop, document, evaluate and analyse strategies aimed at the regeneration of public housing neighbourhoods. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD26140 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL or Social work. It is required that your study starts no earlier than July 28, 2008 and no later than July 28, 2011.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
