Australasian Kidney Trials Network - Population Health Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Australasian Kidney Trials Network (AKTN) provides scholarships for individuals wishing to study for a PhD or MPhil by undertaking research in conjunction with the AKTN. A FTE scholarship is available through funding provided by the University of Queensland (UQ), and the candidate will be required to be enrolled, or intending to enrol in a PhD through UQ. The UQ School of Population Health scholarship will be offered to a candidate planning to enrol in a PhD through UQ and who is a statistician or epidemiologist. This candidate would best be located at the AKTN Operations Secretariat in Brisbane and have a Principal Supervisor at UQ. Scholarship applications closed. Next round will be advised in due course.

This scholarship is offered annually to one person. Open for applications until August 31, 2008.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Clinical sciences, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES or Public health and health services.
