Kartomi PhD in Music Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The School of Music-Conservatorium, Monash, is pleased to introduce the Kartomi PhD in Music Scholarship. The inaugural scholarship will initially be offered for commencement in the first half of 2009. Open to Austsralian citizens, permanent residents and international applicants who have completed a 4-year undergrad degree, a master prelim or masters degree at H1 level or equivalent and who propose to undertake a PhD in Music. Scholarship may be held in any field of music compatible with the research plans of the School. An outstanding background in a relevant discipline is required. This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from July 1, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD26640 (per annum). This award is to be used for research and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Music. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 5, 2009 and no later than June 30, 2009.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
