Scholarship Description
ARMI, CSIRO Molecular and Health Technologies and ASCC are providing a PhD scholarship. Applicant to be enrolled at Monash in the doctoral degree. The successful applicant will conduct original research into the role of the extra cellular environment on the repair, replacement and regeneration of diseased or damaged tissues. Project is multidisciplinary in nature, incorporating existing animal models of growth factor- and signal- mediated enhancement of regeneration, combined with novel biomaterials and progenitor cell contribution to the regenerative process in mammalian tissues. This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications until February 22, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD25000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Biochemistry and cell biology or MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent.
