PhD Scholarship Software Engineering
Scholarship Description
The School of Electrical Eng. invites applications for a PhD position in software engineering for the project of developing a framework for modelling feature variability & dependencies in software product lines. Experience with s'ware system modelling, s'ware product line based development, & graph theory algorithms are desirable. A 4 year s/ware eng. degree with Honours 1 or 2a or Comp. Science Honours 1 or 2a, or Masters in S'ware Eng. or close related area is preferred. High level written & oral communication skills, s'ware development skills, & ability to work in a team are expected. Full scholarship is $20,007pa for 3 years. International students can apply. Additional scholarship covering international tuition fee may be available. Availability
This scholarship is offered once only to 2 people. Open for applications from January 17, 2008 until March 30, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD20007 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2008 and no later than July 1, 2008.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent.
