Elaine Martin Fund Travel Grants

Scholarship Description

This fund shall award at least two travel grants per annum to students enrolled in a Masters degree by research or PhD in the Faculty of Science and Engineering on a full-time basis. At least one of the grants will be to a student enrolled in the School of Biological Sciences. Each grant will initially be a maximum of $2,000. They are to assist meeting the economy class round-trip airfare and living expenses involved in attending an overseas conference.

Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to 2 people. Open for applications from January 1, 2009 until February 28, 2009.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD2000 (total amount). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 1 year.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY or SCIENCE - GENERAL. It is required that your study starts no earlier than May 1, 2009 and no later than April 30, 2010.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in countries except Australia. There are no restrictions on citizenship. You must have studied at or be currently studying at Flinders University.
