Cooperative Research Centre for Polymers - PhD Scholarships
Scholarship Description
The CRC for Polymers is offering scholarships for leading-edge research in the areas of polymer science and engineering. The range of research conducted within the Centre is broad and includes polymer chemistry, polymer physics, materials science, materials engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, and related disciplines. It impacts on the biotechnology, manufacturing, agricultural, mining and energy sectors of the economy. The CRC brings together researchers from universities, Government research labs, private companies, and the Australian Stem Cell Centre. Scholarship holders will be based at the participating universities (listed below) and benefit from access to a wide range of equipment and expertise spanning the Centre. Application should indicate areas of research interest, CV ( with academic record), contact details for at least two referees, and preference for location (Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney or Wollongong).

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD28000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Biomedical engineering, Chemical engineering, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, Materials engineering or PHYSICAL SCIENCES.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 (Semester 1), Honours 1 or equivalent, Honours 2a or equivalent, or Masters or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
