A funded PhD involving development of a diode laser sensor for flight testing the next generation of supersonic combustion ramjet engines. Requires an interest in optics and electronics as well as high-speed transportation.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD20441 (per annum). This award is to be used for research. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Aerospace engineering, Electrical and electronic engineering, Interdisciplinary engineering or Optical physics. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2008 and no later than March 1, 2008.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent.
