Scholarship Description
Applicants should have completed, or be about to complete, undergrad degree in science, law or legal studies, or other appropriate discipline from Australian tertiary institution & intend to pursue postgrad degree in 1 of these fields. Overseas scholarships tenable at overseas tertiary inst'n for 1 year, valued at $40,000 each. Pref. given to applicants who propose to study any or all of: law & the legal system in a social context & their practical application; Science &/or law as a means of attaining social justice & human rights & as vehicles for change; international law as a developing force for peace & as means of achieving rule of law in all nations; Science as tool for social benefit, part. in meeting needs of those most disadvantaged within society (e) other, where proposed nature & area of study likely to promote goals of social justice & benefit to disadvantaged.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD30000 (minimum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 1 year.
