Scholarship Description
Top-up Scholarships for motivated individuals interested in a career in clinically oriented scientific research. Successful applicants will join research teams at the Gallipoli Research Centre, Greenslopes Private Hospital, Brisbane and be supervised by leading medical specialists and research scientists. CITT is a unique, collaborative research centre where basic and clinical research into the treatment of cancer is integrated into state of the art private sector cancer care. Potential PhD projects will focus on practical aspects of developing novel cell based immune therapies for the treatment of cancer in the clinical setting. PhD projects will suit candidates with interests in clinical applications of basic research and who aim to develop the skills and background to lead their own research team or be involved in commercialisation of medical research.
