Swinburne University Postgraduate Research Awards (VCRSs) are awarded to students of exceptional research potential undertaking a higher degree by research (HDR). The awards are provided to assist with general living costs. See Swinburne Research website for further information.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD23728 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, JOURNALISM, LIBRARIANSHIP AND CURATORIAL STUDIES, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, PHYSICAL SCIENCES, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE - GENERAL, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL or THE ARTS.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
