Stipendiary scholarship of 3 years duration (with possible 6-month extension). Fee-paying scholarships are also available for those who are not Australian (or NZ) citizens or permanent residents.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD19616 (per annum). This award is to be used for research, living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Astronomical sciences, Atmospheric sciences, Geophysics, Mathematics or Statistics. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2008 and no later than June 30, 2008.

Eligibility

This scholarship requires you to have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent.
