The Ferry Scholarship is to be awarded annually for doctoral studies at one of the 3 South Australian universities in the scientific fields of physic or chemistry.

Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to one person. Open for applications from September 1, 2008 until October 31, 2008.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD25627 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: CHEMICAL SCIENCES or PHYSICAL SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than March 31, 2009.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. You must be below the age of 25. Only citizens of Australia or permanent residents can apply.
