Mental Health Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme: Mental Health Nursing
Scholarship Description
An Australian Government initiative. Applicants must be a Registered nurse with a current practising certificate. Selection is based on criteria including demonstrated interest & experience in Mental Health Nursing. Students who are practicing in rural & remote areas or are from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. The scholarships are worth up to $10,000 per annum for full time study and up to $5,000 per annum for part time study (up to a maximum of $40,000). Providing students continue to meet the eligibility requirements, scholarship funds will be received until they have completed a postgraduate degree in mental health nursing. Applications are available to download from RCNA web site. The scholarship is closed. Next round will be advised in due course.
