Healthway WA - Health Promotion Research Training Scholarships
Scholarship Description
Research Training Scholarships are being offered to assist graduates obtain formal academic training in health promotion research areas through an approved tertiary institution. The course of study which may be at a Masters or PhD level, may comprise course work with a research component, or research alone. Applicants from a broad range of health-related disciplines are encouraged to apply. The applicant should be working towards a post-graduate degree in a field directly relevant to health promotion. While the Western Australian Health Promotion Foundation (Healthway) encourages research into general areas of health promotion, education and prevention, it has set priorities for research in specific areas, and views young people and other population sub-groups where inequalities in health status exist, as key target groups.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD27500 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid in Two (2) Payments for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: EDUCATION, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES or Public health and health services.
