CMCRC research is about providing a better understanding of financial markets (their operation and their price behaviour) and research which facilitates the provision of advances in technology to capital markets. Exciting research with opportunities for international travel. We are seeking graduates with qualifications in one, or more of: Finance / Capital Markets / Econometrics / Actuarial Studies / Information Technology / Data mining / Text Mining. CMCRC research is also about realising commercial benefits from innovation, and the CMCRC provides direct participation in commercial results for PhD Students. This scholarship is offered bi-annually to 20 people. Open for applications until June 15, 2012.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD50000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid in Two (2) Payments.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Accounting, auditing and accountability, Banking, finance and investment or INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 (Semester 1), or Honours 1 or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
