Scholarship Description
Faculty Research (Trust) Scholarships (FRS) are available each year to eligible high calibre local and international students who have not qualified for other scholarships such as the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or Melbourne International Research Scholarship (MIRS). The majority of Faculty Research Scholarships are open for application between 1st September and 31st October each year. These scholarships are for take up in the following calendar year. A small number of scholarships are open for application in the first half of 2012 for take up in the current year. Please check the individual scholarships for opening and closing date information. Applications for 2013 will open from September 2012. Applicants for department and discipline-specific scholarships are advised that there are specific conditions attached to the award of these scholarships and they should read the relevant trust recitals prior to submitting an application.
