Charcot Scholarships - Medical Studies
Scholarship Description
The Charcot scholarships are open to young researchers and academics in the field of medical studies. They have been created to enable foreign applicants to come for one year in France to conduct a medical research. The applicant needs to be already an academic or researcher, up to 40 years of age. It is not compulsory for the applicant to speak French, the program is also open to English speaking applicants. The length of the scholarship is a maximum of 12 months starting at the earliest on 1 September 2008 and ending at all events on 30 October 2009 (shorter stays are possible, but the scholarship has to finish on 30 October 2009 at the latest). The amount of the scholarship is 1433 euros per month. The return trip to France is not included in the scholarship.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is EUR1433 (maximum per month). This award is to be used for living expenses and travel. This scholarship is paid monthly for the period of 1 year.
