SARDI Women's Science Bursary

Scholarship Description

The annual SARDI Science Bursary was established in 1994 to commemorate the South Australian Women's Suffrage Centenary (1894-1994). The Bursary provides $1,500 to a woman graduate to undertake post-graduate study in science at a tertiary institution in South Australia. Applicants are invited from Honours graduates currently undertaking or wishing to undertake post-graduate studies in agriculture, fisheries or forestry sciences. Candidates will be considered on the merit of their research program and how it directly relates to the strategic research areas of SARDI.

The value of this scholarship is AUD1500 (total amount). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Fisheries sciences, Forestry sciences or Other agricultural, veterinary and environmental sciences.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. You must be female to apply for this scholarship. Only citizens of Australia or AUS permanent resident can apply.
