Scholarship Description

Funding of the Research and Travel Grants may be requested to support specific research expenses. Kurt Weill Foundation for Music grants are awarded to fund projects related to the perpetuation of Kurt Weill's artistic legacy. Applicants must be researching a topic related to Kurt Weill and/or Lotte Lenya and must submit a detailed outline of the proposed project. These grants are to be used to reimburse specific travel expenses and are open to postgraduate students worldwide. The current funding period is for projects beginning in 2009.
