Investigation of the Human Intestinal Nervous System
Scholarship Description
Two scholarships are available for medical graduates (preferably surgical trainees) to undertake a PhD within the Faculty of Health Sciences, Flinders University, commencing in 2009. The scholarship will provide a tax-free stipend of $pa (29,753 2008 rate) for full-time study for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress. The scholarship offers generous leave provisions and allowances. The aim of the scholarship is to support investigation of the human intestinal nervous system. The successful candidate will work in the Department of Human Physiology in collaboration with the Department of Surgery.

Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD29753 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 years.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Medicine - general. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than March 31, 2009.
