Melbourne Rome Scholarship


Scholarship Description

*Temporarily Unavailable*The scholarship is designed to support a research project dealing with art history, archaeology, architectural history, urbanism, or history of designed landscapes of Rome or its region from antiquity to the twentieth century. Eligible applicants should be PhD or MA by research candidates. It is expected that the project will be one for which a period of research in libraries, archives, museums, collections, or sites in Rome or Lazio is necessary. The scholarship pays for a research grant and travel and board and lodging expenses. The Italian Institute of Culture Melbourne will provide the successful applicant with an intensive course in Italian language prior to departure, according to the level required.
