The Vasanta Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The Vasanta Scholarship was established for students to be used to travel abroad to study at an appropriate institution for a period of not less than one year. It is open to male and female students of the Violin, Piano, Cello or Viola who have spent the greater part of their lives prior to selection in New South Wales. For 2007, the prize money will be $7,000 and will be paid in two equal installments of $3,500 over one year.

The value of this scholarship is AUD7000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid bi-annually for the period of 1 year.
