University of Ballarat Part Postgraduate Research Scholarship

Scholarship Description

A number of Part Postgraduate Research Scholarships (PPRS) will be available each year. Each scholarship will carry a stipend of $9615.50 and be tenurable for a period of up to three years (for PhD and Professional Doctorate candidature) or 1.5 years (for Masters candidature). Scholarships are offered for full-time study for Masters by Research, PhDs and Professional Doctorates within the University's nine schools.

This scholarship is offered annually to an unspecified number of people. Open for applications from February 1, 2010 until October 31, 2010.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD12388 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, Business and management, EDUCATION, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, Human movement and sports science, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, Nursing, SCIENCE - GENERAL or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL. It is required that your study starts no earlier than February 1, 2011.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or AUS permanent resident can apply.
