Universitas 21 Solander Scholarship Program

Scholarship Description

Since 2004, the Solander Program has promoted, supported and widened scientific exchange between universities in the Universitas 21 network. The participating institutions - Lund University in Sweden, the University of Auckland and the Universities of New South Wales and Queensland - together have a strong tradition of scientific collaboration. The Solander Program builds on these existing exchanges by enabling postgraduates to undertake short-term research. Each year, eight Solander Scholarships are offered by each University. Solander Travel Grants of approximately AUD$4,000 are intended for shorter visits of one to six months. The Solander Fellowship of approximately AUD$10,000 will be awarded to an outstanding young scientist for a period of up to one year. Postgraduates working in science, engineering and medicine are encouraged to apply. The scholarship is closed. Next round will be advised in due course.
