Donald Dyer Scholarship - Public Relations & Communication Management


Scholarship Description

The Donald Dyer Scholarship has been established to encourage research of an original nature leading to the advancement of knowledge in public relations and communication. The scholarship has been made possible by a generous bequest from the estate of the late Sylvia Dyer. Candidates from discipline areas such as public relations, communication, marketing or advertising are encouraged to apply. The Scholarship will also cover the financial obligations of the student contribution amount for Australians or the tuition fees for international students for the normal period of candidature. Stipend: A$24010 per annum (tax-free), 2008 rate. Plus one return travel airfare between the candidate's home location and Adelaide, and organised by the University (Please note: stipend is adjusted according to Consumer Price Index - CPI, January each year). Open for July intake, closing date 30 April. Closing date for March intake, is 31 October. Please see website for further information.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD24010 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, Marketing or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent.
