Scholarship Description

The University of Newcastle Postgraduate Research Scholarships are open to all International students who meet the eligibility criteria and who intend to start in semester 1 or 2, 2008. In most cases, a UNRSE scholarship will also be awarded with every UNIRPS which will cover a living allowance and overseas student health cover

Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to 25 people. Open for applications until August 31, 2009.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is unspecified (per annum). This award is to be used for fees. This scholarship is paid semesterly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, ARCHITECTURE, URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND BUILDING, BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, EARTH SCIENCES, EDUCATION, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, INFORMATION, COMPUTING AND COMMUNICATION SCIENCES, JOURNALISM, LIBRARIANSHIP AND CURATORIAL STUDIES, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, LAW, JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES, PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION, PHYSICAL SCIENCES, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE - GENERAL, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL, STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY or THE ARTS. It is required that your study starts no earlier than February 21, 2010 and no later than July 21, 2010.

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. Only citizens of countries except Australia and N.Z. may apply.
