Macquarie University Research Excellence Scholarship (MQRES)

Scholarship Description

These scholarships aim to support exceptional students to undertake PhD research especially in one of the University's concentrations of research excellence. These scholarships are competitively awarded on the basis of academic merit, research capacity and experience. The scholarship offers a living allowance, relocation and thesis allowances for eligible candidates. Domestic students are funded for tuition under the RTS scheme. International students receive tuition funding for their scholarship tenure. Interested students should discuss their project proposal with their potential supervisor prior to applying for this award. Scholarships are allocated across the University annually and the number varies from year to year. This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
