Scholarship Description
King & Amy O'Malley Trust Post Graduate scholarships are open to full time and part time students undertaking a postgraduate program deemed eligible by the Managing Trustees in Home Economics related area: 'The focus of Home Economics is empowering individuals and families to make informed and ethical choices to enhance their own and others' well-being in everyday living in households and families.' Applicants will normally have an undergraduate award in an eligible program in Home Economics or equivalent. Awards are made for a one year approved study program and scholarship holders may apply annually for awards for up to a total of three years of full time study. The post graduate program may be at an overseas tertiary institution if the equivalent program is not available in Australia.Applicants must demonstrate committment in the improvement of home life in Australia. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is AUD7500 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for living expenses and miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 1 year.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BEHAVIOURAL AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL or STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY.
