Scholarship Description

Applications are invited for the Elizabeth and Vernon Puzey Graduate Research Scholarships, which honour the late Elizabeth and Vernon Puzey of Toorak. The scholarships aim to "retain the services of well qualified citizens of Australia from leaving Australia". Each scholarship is available to a graduate research student for up to 3.5 years, with benefits consistent with an APA Scholarship. Three scholarships are available, one each in the Faculty of Science, the Melbourne School of Engineering and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences. A fourth scholarship may be made available to foster cross-disciplinary research across any combination of the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry & Health Sciences and the Melbourne School of Engineering. (The scholarship value per annum is the 2011 rate).

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD28000 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of up to 3 and a half years.
