Scholarship Description

The Australian Orchid Foundation is devoted to the preservation, protection, promotion and cultivation of all orchid species and hybrids. It aims to support studies to research orchids in their habitat, as well as management practices to protect those orchids and their habitats; studies of wild populations of orchids, their biology, distribution, conservation and taxonomy; the cultivation and propagation of orchids; education of the public, education of young people in particular in the sciences relevant to orchids and publications. Please see website to download application. There are two annual closing dates of 30/3 and 30/9, although applications may be considered at other times according to their merit.
