Wingate Rome Scholarships in the Fine Arts
Scholarship Description
Supported by the Harold Wyam Wingate Foundation, this Scholarship is open to painters, sculptors and mixed-media artists who are establishing a significant position in their chosen field. The scholarship is for a 5-month residency, research & travel grant to the total of approx. GBP 500/month. Applicants must be able to satisfy the selection panel that they need financial support to undertake the work projected. Applicants must be living in the British Isles during the period of application (December 2005-March 2006) Applicants must be citizens of the United Kingdom or other Commonwealth county, Ireland or Israel; OR citizens of another European Union country provided that they are, and have been for at least three years, resident in the United Kingdom. Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is GBP500 (maximum per month). This award is to be used for living expenses and travel. This scholarship is paid monthly.
