The Sigma Xi Grants-in-Aid of Research (GIAR)

Scholarship Description

This program offers small grants for direct costs of scientific research projects for college students only (salaries and stipends are excluded). The deadlines for applications are 15 March and 15 October each year. Foreign students are exempt from any Sigma Xi membership requirements. The awards can range from $100 - $1000, with some special funds permitting larger amounts. See website for full particulars.
