Australasian Centre for Italian Studies ACIS Cassamarca Scholarships for research in Italy

Scholarship Description

Each year the Australasian Centre for Italian Studies (ACIS) offer up to four scholarships for Australasians wishing to undertake research in Italy the following year. The awards are funded by the Cassamarca Foundation. They are available to students at Australasian universities who will be enrolled, full-time or part-time in the relevant year, in research masters or PhD degrees and who will be engaged in research projects in any of the following areas of Italian studies: archaeology and classical antiquities, language, literature, culture, history, politics and society, including migration studies. Successful applicants will have a knowledge of Italian adequate for their research purposes.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD6000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid annually.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, LANGUAGE AND CULTURE, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE or STUDIES IN HUMAN SOCIETY.
