Scholarship Description

Alzheimer's Australia Research Limited (AAR) is a non-profit company formed to promote, disseminate and fund research into all aspects of dementia. The AAR Dementia Research Grants are seeding grants for new researchers, valued up to $20,000 (exclusive of GST), to be allocated for research in a dementia-relevant area. Grants are awarded in both biological/non-clinical and clinical/psychosocial research areas. The principal investigator must be a new investigator (defined solely as never being a principle investigator on a successful grant worth more than $20,000).The research must be conducted in Australia. Refer to scheme website for application form and further information. This scholarship has closed. Please note that there has been a change to the scholarships program; AAR will not be offering any scholarships for 2009.
