Scholarship Description

Up to 4 IHBI Full Scholarships will be awarded to successful APA or QUTPRA or QUTFBA awardees in the 2009 round at QUT, for students who will undertake a PhD and whose research is within the research priority areas of IHBI.

Availability

This scholarship is offered annually to 4 people. Open for applications from September 1, 2008 until October 10, 2008.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD36140 (per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Biomedical engineering, ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY, MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES or PHYSICAL SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2009 and no later than March 20, 2009.

Eligibility

This scholarship is for study in Australia for those who have achieved Honours 1 or equivalent, or Honours 2a or equivalent. Only citizens of Australia or New Zealand or permanent residents can apply.
