Australian German Association & Goethe-Institut - AGA Educational Development Fellowship

Scholarship Description

The Fellowship is made available jointly by the Australian German Association and the Goethe-Institut offering young Australians a 12-week stay in Germany. This comprises an 8-week language course at a Goethe-Institut in Germany, as well as a grant of AUD $6,000 towards a 4-week study tour of Germany, visiting companies/institutions working in the special interest field of the Awardee. Airfare to and from Germany up to $2,500 are also included. Applicants must have excellent academic tertiary qualifications and the prospect of a promising career in business, law, science, political studies or the arts. They must also have a good knowledge of German, Australian citizenship, and be under the age of 35 on 1 July of the year the application is lodged. The value of this scholarship is AUD13500 (total amount). This award is to be used for accommodation, living expenses and travel. This scholarship is paid in Two (2) Payments.
