Scholarship Description
The Leukaemia Foundation is a national not-for-profit foundation dedicated to the care & cure of patients & families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, & related blood cancers and disorders. Through its National Research Program, the Foundation seeks to foster innovative research into the causes, diagnosis & treatment of these cancers, & the care of patients & families. The program includes grants for research projects, scholarships & fellowships to foster the careers of talented young scientists, support of national research facilities like the AMP Leukaemia & Lymphoma Tissue Bank & funds for some important clinical trials of the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group. These awards are to support basic, applied & translational research in Australia into the causes, treatment & care of people with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma & related blood disorders.
