The Australian Museum Eureka Prizes Established in 1990 to reward outstanding achievements in Australian science and science promotion/ communication. It aims to reward excellence in the fields of scientific research & innovation, science leadership, school science and science journalism & communication. Presented annually by the Australian Museum.

The value of this scholarship is AUD10000 (total amount). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, CHEMICAL SCIENCES, EARTH SCIENCES, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, Journalism, communication and media, MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES, PHYSICAL SCIENCES, SCIENCE - GENERAL or SOCIAL SCIENCES, HUMANITIES AND ARTS - GENERAL.
