Great Barrier Reef Marine Park - Science for Management Awards

Scholarship Description
The Science for Management Awards assist research projects of Doctorate or Masters students in the physical, biological and social sciences. The GBRMPA considers applications from a variety of disciplines for projects which are relevant to the planning and management of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and World Heritage Area in a changing climate. Before applying, students are encouraged to review the Australian Government's Climate Change Action Plan. More details please see provider website. Applicants should already be supported by their administering institution for basic expenses and have access to general equipment, library, laboratory and computing facilities for the research. Grants are usually between $1000 and $4000 (including GST).

The value of this scholarship is AUD4000 (maximum per award). This award is to be used for miscellaneous purposes. This scholarship is paid as a one off for the period of 1 year.

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: AGRICULTURAL, VETERINARY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE, MANAGEMENT, TOURISM AND SERVICES or EARTH SCIENCES.
