Australian Academy of Science Visit to the NIH in the USA for a junior scientist

Scholarship Description

The Australian Academy of Science invites Expressions of Interest for travel in 2012 from junior scientists to visit the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the US. Applicants should be either: in the first two years of a PhD degree or equivalent, or have completed a Masters or a Bachelors with Honours degree, or be in the final semester of a Masters or a Bachelors with Honours degree. The proposed visit should initiate long-term collaborations and facilitate the development of the applicant’s career. See the National Institutes of Health website for a list of institutes. The successful applicant will receive a contribution towards the direct return air travel between Australia and the host institution up to a maximum of $2600AUD, and a once off living allowance of up to a maximum of $400AUD, provided by the Adam J. Berry Memorial Fund (AJBMF).
