Onassis Post-Graduate Research Scholarships
Scholarship Description
APPLICATIONS CLOSED, NEXT ROUND DETAILS TO BE CONFIRMED LATE-2008. From 5-10 months during academic year Oct 2008 - Sept 2009. Scholarship includes round trip air-ticket (economy class) for the scholarship recipient only for the beginning of the scholarship and upon definite departure from Greece, and a monthly allowance of 1,200 Euros for subsistence, accommodation and all other expenses The chosen subject must be approved in advance by the University. Knowledge of the Greek language is compulsory. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM APPLIES TO ALL NATIONALITIES OTHER THAN GREEK (FOR WHICH THERE IS A SEPARATE PROGRAM). However, persons of Greek descent (2nd generation and on) are eligible, provided they live and work outside Greece.

Availability
This scholarship is offered annually to 10 people. Open for applications until January 31, 2008.
Payment Information
The value of this scholarship is EUR750 (maximum per month). This award is to be used for living expenses and travel. This scholarship is paid monthly.
Research Information
This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Anthropology, ARCHITECTURE, URBAN ENVIRONMENT AND BUILDING, ECONOMICS, EDUCATION, HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY, Language studies, Law, Linguistics, Literature studies, PHILOSOPHY AND RELIGION, POLICY AND POLITICAL SCIENCE, Psychology, Sociology or THE ARTS.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in Greece. You must be below the age of 40. There are no restrictions on citizenship.
