PhD scholarship in Spectroscopy/Biospectroscopy suitable for Honours 1 graduates (or equivalent). Possible areas of research: Biospectroscopy; High resolution Gas analysis; Laster spectroscopy of biomolecules and hydrogen-bonded clusters in the gas phase; Laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscopy of Liquid Samples.

Availability

This scholarship is offered once only to one person. Open for applications from November 19, 2002 until December 6, 2002.

Payment Information

The value of this scholarship is AUD21000 (maximum per annum). This award is to be used for living expenses. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 3 and a half years.

Research Information

This scholarship is for one of the following fields of research: Other biological sciences or PHYSICAL SCIENCES. It is required that your study starts no earlier than January 1, 2003 and no later than March 31, 2003.
