Lizette Bentwich Scholarship
Scholarship Description
The Lizette Bentwich Scholarship is awarded for study overseas. The value of the scholarship awarded shall be determined after considering the applicant's proposed program of study and estimate of travel and living costs. The Scholarship is open to candidates who have been awarded a degree with honours by the Faculty of Arts at The University of Melbourne and who are pursuing graduate studies in the University. Preference will be given to candidates from the Faculty of Arts. There is no application form. 9 copies of the application (no more than 4 pages in total) including: CV, academic records, estimate of costs, access to other financial sources eg APA, TRIPS, MATS, PORES; proposed study course, any other information which may assist the commitee in making its decision and 2 academic referee reports should be sent to the faculty contact below. Next available for Arts applicants 2010/2011. Details to be confirmed 2009.

The value of this scholarship is AUD3000 (per annum). This award is to be used for travel. This scholarship is paid annually for the period of 1 year.

Eligibility
This scholarship is for study in countries except Australia for those who have achieved Honours 2a or equivalent. There are no restrictions on citizenship. You must have studied at or be currently studying at The University of Melbourne.
